Perrigo Company Acquires Orion Laboratories, Leading OTC supplier in Australia & New Zealand.

We are very pleased to announce that Perrigo has entered into an agreement to acquire Orion Laboratories headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. Orion is a leading supplier of over-the-counter (OTC) store brand pharmaceutical products in both Australia and New Zealand. The company also manufactures and distributes pharmaceutical products supplied to hospitals in Australia.

The acquisition is expected to add more than $30 million in sales annually. Orion’s innovative product mix, reputation for high quality and location make it a great fit for Perrigo. By leveraging Orion’s product pipeline and local marketing and distribution expertise, Perrigo is expanding its ability to meet the world's growing need for quality, affordable healthcare.

This acquisition is representative of one of our key growth strategies - to broaden our global footprint in expanding Perrigo’s business to new parts of the world.
